Fugu Fin Hot Sake - $13.50 5 oz of premium Otokoyama sake served extra hot in which the fugu fin is dipped in and then lit on fire. Fugu Set ($45.00) An order of each: Kara-age and Fin hot sake, and 1/2 order of Sashimi. Fugu has become one of the most celebrated and notorious dishes in Japanese cuisine. Known for it’s lethal toxins that causes instant death to a human being, it is imported with strict regulations and inspections by Japanese and U.S. authorities. Only a certified fugu chef can prepare and serve this deadly fish. Origami Downtown is proud to be the first and only restaurant in Minnesota to serve the infamous Fugu. With the certification of Shigeyuki Furukawa, Origami is serving the Tiger Fugu, known to be the best in Japan. The Fugu that is served here does not have any lethal toxins and can be enjoyed safely.
